A very casual hidden gem in St. Charles. The ambiance is jeans and a t-shirt. Don't let that fool you, because the food is incredibly good. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I love their pasta dishes. Service is friendly and attentive. Be aware that they allow smoking on the bar side. If you are disabled, the front door is quite heavy and you may need assistance getting inside.

Had the creamy tortellini and found the pasta perfectly cooked and the cream sauce tasted great. The garden salad was fresh and cold. Jacki was friendly and attentive. Good food in a dive setting!

Great food and always have good local bands. Everyone so friendly. Highly recommend.

This place is a dive bar so if you like those you'll enjoy Salvatore's! My husband and I came here on a Saturday night to listen to live music. The music is very loud fair warning. We sat close to the band and they played for hours with a few breaks. The menu and website says they have live music Thursday- Sunday. The waitress waiting on our table came by often to check in and was fun. The drinks came out quick and were good. To eat we got a sausage and pepperoni pizza to go. The pizza was good as well and came out fast. My husband and I will have to come back to listen to some live music and enjoy some drinks!

Great night Saturday seeing Trixie delight right up front and centered. Valerie did get servicing our 8 person table. Sucked there was smoking allowed inside! And the women's bathroom was questionable especially the location by kitchen supplies. The mostaccioli and pizza was amazing drunk food. Strong drinks but I like it that way. This place been here forever I wish they showed online for event that we had to pay a 5$ door fee in cash cuz a lot of my friends wasn't prepared. We came for my birthday so it was chill night.

Great place to eat. The atmosphere was nice. The service was good. The food was excellent . I had the red lasagna it was fantastic. My husband had French dip and said it was great. Then just brother had the Sal special and he loved it! Here are pictures below!

Very unassuming spot located in a strip mall that's been around for many , many years and it has that old comfy feeling and bar smell when you walk in. Small dining area used for evening and opens up to large bar area with plenty of seating plus a stage area for bands Wednesday thru Saturday evenings(cover charge at times) and a small dance floor. Full food menu with lunch specials sure to satisfy and a large fully stocked bar helps quench the thirst

My daughter, son-in-law and I went Salvatore's for our first ever visit for her birthday (her selection). Service was excellent, food was excellent (we each had something different); cigarette smoke was ridiculous and disgusting. We might do carry out if available. If you want to strive to do better, Number One Suggestion, invest in a far better ventilation system or quit giving priority to the smokers at the bar. I'm sure there is more profit in booze than food but you have a choice to make; bar or restaurant?
